3D embellishments Christmas scrapbook

Remember we discussed the addition of embellishments with the use of stickers? Well, maybe it’s time we go more creative. Instead of going for embellishments that are like a sticker, why not try a real object? Sounds fun right? That’s exactly the goal! This is the time you can get creative with your scrapbook using your favourite embellishments and objects is the best bit!

You can decide to add embellishments based on the theme of the scrapbook or the theme of each page of the scrapbook. However, this is not a rigid idea, as you can also decide to experiment with whatever comes to your mind. Note that you have to be extra careful during the process when you have to attach these embellishments so you won’t turn your scrapbook into a mess.

You also have to ensure that the colours of the embellishments you are adding must be colours that match. To avoid causing a colour riot that takes the attention off of your photos, we suggest you stick to just two to three colours. Examples of some real-life object embellishment include:

  • Ribbons
  • Wrapping paper
  • Gift Tags
  • Fabrics

The Monocoloured Christmas Scrapbooking Idea

So we have been emphasizing using two or more different colours of layouts and additional embellishments in your scrapbook, which is a great idea. but if you feel you are doing too much with colour this ones for you!

Understandably, you might not want to go for too many colours for your scrapbook. Sometimes, less can be truly more. You can decide to work with just one colour for all the layouts and embellishments in your scrapbook. It is however recommended not to go for something low-key or dull. A bright colour, say red or green will surely come out great.
